For the church donors, it was made possible to be laid to rest in the vicinity of martyr’s bones. Contrary to the Roman laws, the church donors were allowed to be buried within the settlement.
Almost one third of the five-coloured floor mosaic stayed preserved. In front of the donor grave, the chapel wall had a niche where an epitaph was probably painted.
